Haverigg Beach

Haverigg beach has extensive sands at low tide and is close to the RSPB reserve at Hodbarrow. Haverigg is great for families- so don't forget to bring your wild child! The sand dunes at Haverigg haws are a breeding ground for the protected natterjack toad. A large sculpture called 'Escape to Light' by the internationally renowned sculptor Josefina de Vasconellos overlooks the beach. This beach has a quality coast award for cleanliness. Childrens play area, cafe, toilets and car park nearby.
