The Wildzone aims to help visitors really see the wild side of Cumbria from close up wild life encounters to wild family activities.

Cafe in the Forest

The Cafe in the Forest is in the heart of Grizedale Forest. It's run by the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal and all profits go back into the Brewery Arts charity. The Cafe is open 10-5pm all week and serves home cooked, locally sourced food. There are large picture windows which give views over the forest, as well as a terrace and courtyard seating area outside. The Cafe hosts art displays throughout the year showcasing the work of local artists, which is available to buy. There's a range of lunchtime specials and a quiche and pie of the day, as well as cakes, tray bakes and scones, perfect with a cup of coffee or tea after some fresh air in the forest..
